I was looking forward to this one today:  Every minute on the minute 1 Clean and Jerk. Start with 60% of your 1RM and add 10 lbs. each time.  I started with 115, and worked up to a miss with 205lbs on the Jerk.  Cleaned it fine but didn’t get underneath it on the Jerk.  I was happy with that.  195 is pretty good for me.  I weighed in at 180lbs this morning.

Then…

8 Minute AMRAP

  • 5 KB Swings (2 Pood)
  • 5 Push Ups
  • 5 CTB Pullups

I didn’t want to do these pullups because of all the shoulder problems I’ve had in the recent past, but it worked out ok.  5 at a time isn’t so bad.  I just don’t want to do any more workouts with 100’s of pullups.  Anyway, I ended up with 8 rounds + 1 KB Swing.  Now I’m going out of town for a couple of days to have some fun.  Back in the gym on Monday!!
