Whilst I was never a particularly good athlete, I grew up playing a lot of rugby, skiing and going on long hikes with family. I began lifting weights at University and fell in love with strength training, my best deadlift to date is 280kg/615lbs.
In my time outside of training, I have an awesome wife and I enjoy performing as a stand up comedian. I first came across LHRL in 2015 and ran my first trail marathon in 2017.
I continue to be inspired by the fantastic LHRL community and my goals for 2018 include running my first 50k and getting into the 50 Mile/400lb deadlift club.
