Press 3RM; 5 x 3 @ 90%

Worked up to 135 for a set of 3, then did the 5 x3 @ 125.

Jerks 8 x 2 @ 80%; rest 60 sec

Did this at 165 lbs.  It was hard.  Really hard for some reason.


  • 50 Handstand Pushups
  • 25 Hang Power Cleans (185lbs!!)

Seriously, 185lbs.  I had to scale down to 155 lbs.  I don’t feel too bad about that.  It was still really heavy.  However, I did all 50 HSPU’s!!  I kipped most of them, but I still did them all.  That’s pretty awesome.  That’s a lot of handstand pushups, and I feel pretty good about that.  Just powered through the cleans.  They weren’t too bad, but still pretty hard.
