“Life is not a dead end, not something to be endured or mastered”

This was the quote that stuck out the most. How often do I feel that life is an endurance race, a hindrance, something of an obligation? I felt this way for years, but that was in a different life.

I have been alive in all sorts of ways throughout my life. There are all different varieties of life. I like to watch people and see what degree of life they have shining through their eyes.

I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, who is a doctor. She was discussing some of the reasons why people are diagnosed with stage IV diseases before they ever see a stage I. Much of this was attributed to the fact that the human body is such a spectacular machine, it is capable of over compensating for the areas which are lacking, until it just absolutely can’t. Basically, the body works, right up until the point that it doesn’t. It will get you to where it can get you…. until it can’t.

The conversation boiled down to this;

There are all different types of alive, but there ain’t but one kind of dead.

I want to live life as if I want to be more alive, and not as if I am enduring the time until I die. Death will come soon enough.

Get more life out of life.

I have no education or experience as a writer, and almost zero knowledge of grammar. I love sitting in front of a computer and spitting it out on paper as it goes through my brain.
