Day 3 Week 2 of Training! | Lift Heavy Run Long

Got to the gym late today and skipped the running drills…

Strength

  • Bench 4 Rep Max; 4 x 4 @ 90% of 4RM
  • Barbell Row 4 Rep Max; 4 x 4 @ 90% of 4RM

Worked up to 165#, and it was hard.  There wasn’t a spot around so I felt like that was it for today.  Did the Reps at 150. Same exact weights with the Barbell Rows.  Is that weird?  Felt good still.

I had this workout on the schedule:

15 Minute AMRAP

  • 12 Pushups
  • 15 OH Squats

I wasn’t feeling the OH Squats today, so I changed this up to this instead:

15 Minute AMRAP

  • 10 Pushups
  • 10 Box Jumps
  • 10 Sit Ups

Got 9 Rounds + 5 Pushups.

13.2 of the Crossfit Games Open is announced in just about 20 minutes, so I’m looking forward to seeing what that is.  That will determine what I do at the gym in the morning since I’ll likely to the Open WOD Friday morning.
