Today’s training:

Bench Press 4RM; 4 x 4 @ 90% of 4RM

Worked up to 165lb 4RM!  Awesome!  I was excited about that.  Any kind of press is my weakness so it’s good to be getting stronger in that area.  So, then I did the  4X4 at 145 lbs.


5 Rounds

  • 9 Handstand Pushups
  • 12 Kettlebell Swings (70#)

Finished in 11:14, but had to scale some of the HSPU’s.  Here’s how it went:  Round 1 I got all 9 HSPU’s.  Round 2 I got 5 and had to move to Pike Pushups off a box.  Round 3 I got 4 HSPU’s and moved to the box.  Round 4 I got 1 HSPU and moved to the box.  Round 5 No HSPU’s, all on the box.  I was a little disappointed, but still doing more HSPU’s than I’ve ever been able to do so that’s good.  Progress.

I’m supposed to run 15 Miles tomorrow or Sunday along with OPT’s “Flight Simulator.”  We’ll see how that goes….Have a great weekend everybody!
