Back at Faction Strength and Conditioning this morning! Great to see some of my friends there again. My coach was there as well, so it was really nice to be able to train with him on hand. We talked a little about training and my next race, and then I got after it. Here’s what today had in store for me:
Every Minute on the Minute: Snatch x 1. Start at 60% of 1RM and add 10 lbs. each round.
- 5 Kb Swings (53#)
- 5 GHD Situps
- 5 Burpees
The Snatch is my worst lift. My max is only like 125lbs so I started at 75 lbs. I worked up to 115, but never got a successful lift. I tried it a couple more times, but soon realized it wasn’t happening.
On the MetCon, I scaled up to a 2 Pood Kettlebell since I felt bad about being so weak on the snatch. Finished the WOD in 4:56.
