It’s that time of year again. We loaded up the wagons, stocked up on beef jerky, sprees, beer, and cheese dip and headed to Mountain View Arkansas for the Sylamore 50K/25K race. This is always a good time. This was my first 50k four years ago and easily the hardest of any races you will catch me running.
We did a podcast and had some laughs. We like to give each other a hard time and someone in the room is always the butt of a joke but we all love each other. No one cares how athletic or fast the other person is, we all just want to have a good time and get lost in the woods for a few hours (or all friggin day).
I would not trade this experience for anything in the world.
