Angi Ramsey is the founder and owner of Mid-South Runners.  She was not very active in her younger years, but found a love for running in her early 30’s.  She discovered that running was a way to escape the everyday stresses of life, stay in shape, and a great way to challenge herself.  After running shorter distances, Angi decided to run her first full marathon in 2009, and it was the hardest thing she had ever set her mind to athletically.  She knew that this was something that was a lifelong passion.  One day she found herself wanting to give back to the running community and serve others.  She volunteered for the Germantown Half Marathon & 5K, and she realized that becoming a race director would help her serve her purpose.  She assisted with the first Go Run 5K in Olive Branch, MS in 2011.  With the success of the race, she directed many others to follow for local businesses and 501 (C) (3) charities.   In 2018 she decided to manage and direct her own race called Midsouth Runners Half Marathon & 5K to benefit Challenged Athletes Foundation.

Angi is very passionate about working out and staying in shape, and loves to encourage and help others to do the same.  She has been a running instructor for the YMCA.  She is now the Benefits Coordinator that manages Health & Wellness for Campbell Clinic.

Angi is also currently the race director for Northpoint Christian School Color Splash 5K, Mississippi Ale House Beer Relay, and CHF Race for Hope 5K & 10K.
