We had a really fun time chatting with Alex Viada of Complete Human Performance. I’ve been following Alex for a long time, but this was my first time getting to talk to him. He’s always been someone I looked up to because of all of the impressive numbers he’s put up and all of the things he’s accomplished, so I was especially excited to have him on the show. You might think that a guy that’s done a couple of Ironman Triathlons, some ultra marathons, and can squat 600 lbs might be a little full of himself. Alex is quite the opposite. He’s very humble and easy to talk to. We could have easily filled up 2 hours of conversation with him. If you take anything away from this episode, I hope it’s this: You can do whatever you want, and you can have fun doing it. No matter who you are. Here’s a quote from Alex on the show:
You don’t have to be an incredibly gifted, genetic freak…you just have to try
Right on! We totally agree. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did, and don’t miss the fact that I totally committed to running the Rocky Raccoon 100 Miler. 🙂 Enjoy the show…
