Getting back to logging my training again…
- A1: Bench Press 5RM; 4 x 5 @90%
- A2: Barbell Row 5RM; 4 x 5 @90%
- B1: Push Press + Jerk @ 75% of Jerk every min on the min for 10 min
140lbs. on the bench and 132 on the Rows. On the push press/Jerks I started with 95lbs, but that was too light so I ended up with 132lbs.
Then…
6 Rounds:
- 10 OH Squats (95#)
- 4 HSPU
Holy crap! I’ve been doing a lot of HSPU’s, Pistols, and OH Squats lately. I think my coach has figured out what my goats are and just programs them into everything. It’s good though because I’m getting better at each of these movements. However, this morning I had to switch to pike push ups after the first round. After all the pressing, jerking, OH Squats, etc. my arms were toast. Great WOD though!
And finally….
6 x 300M Run; Rest 1 Minute
Feeling good. Going for a long run this Saturday morning. Haven’t ran long in a while, and I can’t wait. Should be fun.
