Ahh…Wednesday, the day I go see the doctor about the shoulder.  Not very excited about it.  Hoping for good news.  I swear it’s actually feeling a little better, but I can’t tell if I’m just trying to convince myself of that or if it’s really getting better.  We’ll see what the good Doctor says.

Anyway, this is Gym Jones stuff.  One of the coaches at the gym that I’m currently training in likes to use a lot of Gym Jones’ programming.  I’m quite fond of it.  The thing is that on other days with other coaches the programming will be strictly Crossfit workouts or something completely different.  I’m beginning to wonder if I’m hurting myself by not sticking to a specific program.  I don’t know.  We’ll see at Ouachita I guess.  I need to schedule a long run soon.  Is that enough random information for you?

Anywho…on to today’s workout:

  • 10 Clean High Pulls (225#)
  • 2:00 Row
  • 90 Second Rest

  • 10 Deadlifts (225#)
  • 2:00 Row
  • 90 Second Rest

Because of the shoulder, I didn’t do anywhere near 225 on the cleans.  I did about 50Kg.  The deadlift I had 105Kg.  It was a good workout.  The rowing always kills me.  It felt great.  Cleans were just ok, too light.  Deadlifts were awesome, always love doing those.  All in all a good day.  Active recovery day tomorrow maybe.  We’ll see.
