In October of 2015, I was 350 pounds and not active. I was not an athlete in school and was not active during my 20’s and early 30’s. In November my wife had medical complications and spent some time in the hospital. When we asked the doctor what we should do he said, “Well, you’re fat.” So, we decided to change. We changed the way we eat, joined a gym and started running. After some weight came off we started lifting and now we enjoy doing both together. I have lost a total of 160 lbs and I have never felt better. It is a struggle every day, but I wouldn’t change anything. I have a long-term goal of 300lbs/50miles!
