Another good day in the books.  Not quite as tough as yesterday, but still loved it.  First up, the press:

Press 3RM; 5 x 3 @ 90%

Worked up to 140 3RM.  So the 90% was at 125.

Then…

Power Clean + 2 Jerks x 8 @ 70%; rest 60

Did this at 135lbs and felt great.

Then…

The WOD… More Overhead Squats @115lbs.  Since I did them last week, I was determined not to scale them again this week.  I got some video this time (below)

8 Minute AMRAP

  • 5 Overhead Squats (115lbs)
  • 10 Box Jumps (24″ Box)

I got in 5 rounds.  Overhead Squats were tough.  Here’s a short clip of 3 of them.  Big improvement for me!
