Monday morning and I can’t find my weightlifting shoes.  Bummer.  Had to squat without them.  What a great weekend spending time with friends and family!  I’m definitely not ready to be back at work.  Whatever, next week is race week!  I can’t believe it.  Gotta focus and go hard this week.  Stay on point!

Back Squat 3RM; 5 x 3 @ 90%

I got 275 lbs. which is what I got last week, but I didn’t have my weightlifting shoes.  I felt like I could have gone for 285 if I’d had my shoes.  Really.  I did the 5 x 3 at 255lbs and felt great.

Mid-thigh Snatch + Snatch x 8 @ 80%; rest 60 sec

Insert more complaining about not having shoes here.  Did this at 95 lbs.

  • Run 400 Meters
  • Rest 90 Seconds

Runs felt great and my legs are strong.  I kept the Toes to Bar reps at around 12-14 the whole time.  Not bad.
