Wrapping Up the Week!! | Lift Heavy Run Long

It’s Friday!  I ended up the week with a pretty tough Crossfit benchmark workout, “The Chief”:

So it’s 5 rounds of a 3 minute AMRAP with a 1 minute rest between rounds.  I ended up with 23 full rounds.  The hardest part was the Squats believe it or not.  Yesterday (Thursday) we did another tough workout that was 7 Rounds of 10 70# KB Swings and 10 95# Thrusters so my legs were pretty spent before I even started this workout.  I was happy with 23 rounds.

I’m running a 15K in the morning.  The Country Store 15K and 5K.  I’m sure while I’m running I will be regretting the last two days of training! It should be a fun race.  I have a bunch of friends that will be running.  We’ll see how it goes.
